Dana relocated to Phoenix from Fort Worth, Texas after retiring from a foremost dental clinic specializing in tongue and lip tie releases. She developed her knowledge of oral issues including assessment and diagnosis of lip and tongue ties with over thirty years of experience in the field. Dana became an IBCLC in 2015 and continued to work in a dental clinic assisting with laser procedures and providing follow up lactation consultations. The Milk Spot was happy to welcome Dana in 2019 to the team.
Dana has a passion for helping moms and babies by supporting them along whatever journey their nursing relationship takes them. Dana’s first breastfeeding experience was nursing her twin daughters. She recalls the bad advice she was given and goes over and above to help families avoid similar roadblocks. Dana lives in Phoenix with her husband Rush. When she isn’t busy working in the clinic, Dana can likely be found spending time with her three children and five grandbabies.
