What is the role of a birth assistant? 💬Responsibilities include: • Monitoring of vital signs during labor & childbirth 🩺• Assisting with comfort measures such as positioning & relaxation techniques during birth • Assistance with newborn care 🍼• Documentation • Assisting midwives during clinic appointments Shadowing/training opportunities will be provided.
