Diane Bajus, CNM, CNP, PhD

Diane has been serving women and their families from a wide range of cultures in various settings for over 40 years. She encourages women to nourish their mind, body, and spirit equally by trusting the Ancestral Wisdom from within.

Her life journey in herbal medicine began as a child growing up in the woods of upstate New York. She observed the natural world around, listened to the teaching of her Elders, and gardened with her Grandmothers. Together, they instructed Diane on how to make herbal teas and recipes for food and medicines.

Diane’s path became evident when she worked as a Midwife and Herbalist apprentice with Elder traditional Midwives, Herbalists, and Healers in the 1970s. She continued this work throughout her RN program, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 1982 and Nursing Degree from Arizona State University n 1985. She later attended the University of Illinois in 1995, completing a Master of Science specializing in Midwifery and Women’s Health, and was awarded a full Ph.D. in Integrative and Functional Medicine 25 years later.

Diane is board certified in Nurse-Midwifery, Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, and Integrative Medicine. She is licensed in both Illinois and Arizona as an Advanced Practice Nurse Midwife/Nurse Practitioner. She has numerous certifications & memberships with organizations involving health & well-being such as Herbalism, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Bach Flower Therapy, Homeopathy, Chinese Medicine, Reflexology, and Body Work.

Diane is honored to assist women in the physical, mental, and spiritual transition of life cycle changes by discovering ways to nurture the body’s innate ability to heal and birth new life. She helps women rediscover their confidence, trust, and respect, allowing birth to unfold as a beautiful miracle. An integral part of her work is Healing Earth Botanicals and Sacred Birth Therapy.

Diane is a proud mother of 2 sons, 7 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and a cat. She makes her home along the Phoenix Mountain preserve, enjoying the natural beauty of Arizona’s desert hiking, creating herbal formulas, gardening, and traveling.

Healing Earth Botanicals
In 1982, Diane founded Healing Earth Botanicals to provide nourishing, organic herbal and aromatic formulations for families. Sacred Birth Therapy
Sacred Birth Therapy was developed during the last 40 years of experience from thousands of births attended. Sacred Birth Therapy is a blend of Ancient Wisdom learned from Elder Midwives, Healers, and Body Workers to help create a more comfortable, gentle birth experience. It balances physical energy within your body to improve blood flow, relaxation, alignment, and responses to birthing. The body guides areas that may need the release of tightness, tension, fear, and traumas while working together. It involves external/ internal techniques with bodywork, breathwork, acupuncture, and aromatherapy.
