A native Arizonian, Bianca is committed to advancing the health and well-being of women, infants, and families across the state. She earned her Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) with a specialization in Global Public Health from the University of Arizona. Bianca began her career as a perinatal Community Health Worker with the South Phoenix Healthy Start program under the Maricopa County Public Health Department. Currently, she is a Project Manager at the March of Dimes national office, focusing on maternal health equitable access initiatives.
Within the community, Bianca is the Founder of Our Mothers and Us (OMUS), a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about Black maternal health in Arizona through community-based research, workshops, and engagement. Additionally, Bianca is a birth assistant and midwifery student with hands-on experience in the home birth setting.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Bianca enjoys international travel, music festivals, and social gatherings.
