Leah attended her first birth at age 15 and was in awe at the power of women in birth. She took that experience with her as she went on to study Family Relationships and Women’s Studies in college. After graduating from The University of Maine, Leah moved to Arizona with her husband. Blossom Birth Center opened its doors when Leah was 5 weeks pregnant with her first child, and still remembers Mary’s sweet invitation to Blossom’s first annual party. Leah’s first birth was attended by Nichelle and second by Mary, both experiences are close to Leah’s heart and she couldn’t imagine a more supportive and loving team to help bring her babies into this world.
In 2017, Leah joined Blossom as a birth assistant. After working for 6 years with families and children in the role of a parent educator and family support worker at a Phoenix social work agency, Leah was offered the opportunity to take on a new role as Office Manager at Blossom.
Leah has lots of roles at Blossom, but her desire for women and families to have a heartfelt experience throughout prenatal care, birth and postpartum at Blossom is her utmost priority.
Leah lives in the southeast valley with her husband and their two daughters.
